To anyone who stumbles over this blog, I just wanted to give you the heads up. Jesse and I are still planning to post up a full instructional post, we just havent gotten around to it yet.
As an update the speakers are still 100% kicking here in our living room. It seems the amp is giving up before the speakers! w00t.

Just wondering what speakers you guys used? I was planning on making a 2.1 set for my girlfriend. I was looking at the instructables diy using a 3″ cone driver, but those seem kinda pricey. Would I be able to hack up a set of Logitech Z 2300 speakers and put them into the munny. Thanks.

You totally would be able to hack up a set of speakers. We literally just tore apart a home theatre system.
