To anyone who stumbles over this blog, I just wanted to give you the heads up. Jesse and I are still planning to post up a full instructional post, we just havent gotten around to it yet.

As an update the speakers are still 100% kicking here in our living room. It seems the amp is giving up before the speakers! w00t.

Sub Woofer Weigh Down

So we have made considerable advances on the Munny Project in the last 3 days. One of which was one hell of a hiccup we had with the sub woofer’s first assembly attempt. Which I might add left both me and Matt terrified for over a day. However we have over come this obstacle and are moving forward.

The Munny Sub is very head heavy and we were worried it might tip over if it is bumped into or the bass pumped too loudly. So we milled over a few ideas of how to weight the sucker down. The chosen method was to fill him with pretty stones and then fill it up with hot wax because it would fill every little nook and cranny and keep the stones from vibrating.

Below is a diagram of what’s going on inside of the Mega Munny’s body right now.

Okay, so today we’ve begun the serious work, the works work, the work so top secret, we can’t show you everything we are doing…

We made some intense cuts this evening, and found out just how deep (and sticky) a Mega Munny can truly be. You’ll have to come to the show to see this finished product (and log onto the blog after the 25th to see full documentation of the project after the show) We need to save something for those who are coming!

There will be more test videos and Mega Munny teasers on the way so don’t lose interest now. The funs just begun
